Hi folks -
As you have heard this week, the release of EML 2.1.0 is now ready. You
can retrieve it from cvs using the tag "RELEASE_EML_2_1_0" , and a zip
of the release is at the link below (to large to attach). The schema is
essentialy unchanged from RC4, which was announced back in December.
Since then, there have been changes only to the documentation
(xs:annotation sections in the schema, readmes etc).
http://sbc.lternet.edu/external/EML/eml-2.1.0.zip
This is the release schedule we would like to implement:
March 5: Vote finished by eml-dev for release of EML 2.1.0
March 5-9: Deal with comments, revise EML if needed
March 9-11: test EML 2.1.0 with installations of Metacat 1_9_0,
Upgrade production at KNB/NCEAS/LTER
March 13: Release EML 2.1.0 (and Metacat 1.9) on web
So please respond to the group any time before close-of-business March 5
with "release" or don't release" for EML 2.1.0. If your response is
"don't release" please state a reason.
Thanks!
Margaret
