Dear all:

For the SEEK yearly report, I need from all people supported under the 
UCSD SEEK grant certain adminstrative information. 

Here is what we probably need, maybe Matt can provide additional info
if I missed something:

-- First name, lastname
-- email address (for follow-up questions)
-- role (GSRA, visitor, staff,...)
-- percentage of time (e.g., N months/year, or percentage)
-- US citizen, permanent resident, alien
-- 2 sentences what area/activity in SEEK was performed, e.g., 
---- member of the EOT team, writing articles, or 
---- member of the EcoGrid team: development of XYZ

Matt: did I miss anything?

THANKS -- sorry for the short notice, but please send this ASAP!!!!

(We only recently learnt that each site has to upload this information individually...)

Bertram,

the list is in the report attachment i sent.  You don't really need 
everything that you requested from people.  First name, last name, email 
address, role, and whether or not they will work > 160 hours/year  are 
the only required items that you need, and they are already compiled in 
the list in the report I sent you.

Also, you need to list everyone on the grant, not just the UCSD people. 
  That's why I sent the whole list for the whole project.

What you do need is for each graduate student to fill out a 'demographic 
data' form AFTER you have entered them in Fastlane.  NSF prefers if the 
student fill it out rather than you to maintain confidentiality.  The 
fastlane system will prompt you to generate an email to them with the 
instructions after you enter them in the system.

I've submitted the SEEK NSF report.

Note that in absence of information to the contrary, I've assumed that 
all publications you gave me properly cite NSF support.

If that's not the case, I didn't know it.
In the future please do ackn. NSF support if your work is SEEK
related/should be included as such in the yearly reports.
